Montgó
The mountain as well as the Montgó Natural Park, with a height of 753 meters, offers a beautiful view of Xàbia. You can make beautiful walks on the marked trails. This mountain also helps ensure that wind and bad weather can't reach Xàbia as easily. From the Montgó, on clear days you can see the island of Ibiza, some 90km away.
Historic center Jávea
The historic center of Jávea (Xàbia) has maintained its medieval appearance well. Its narrow streets, sandstone buildings, white facades, Gothic windows, large wooden front doors, invite you to stroll for hours.
Above all, do not forget to visit the Iglesia de San Bartolomé. Built in the 14th century, this church is the heart of the historic center. On Thursdays there is a market in Javea (Plaza de la Constitucion)
The port
The port of Jávea, the Duanes de la Mar, is a lively place e n has existed since the 15th century. It is a coming and going of fishing boats there, especially in the morning. Besides the fishing port, there is also a marina where you can go for water sports. Near the port you will find a striking structure : the Iglesia de Nuestra Señora de Loreto, a feat of remarkable modern architecture.
